Wolfgang Haas

Wolfgang Haas began his education as a graphic designer and illustration artist in 1999, before discovering his lifelong passion for animation and cartoons and deciding to become an animator. He started out in the industry as an intern at Trixter in Munich, where he stayed for 5 years working as an animator and modeler. 

Following Trixter, he freelanced and taught animation for several years before joining Scanline in Munich as a senior animator. He worked at Scanline for eight years and was promoted to Animation Lead and later Animation Supervisor. He also joined Scanline’s rigging team and wrote productivity tools for the animation and layout department. Wolfgang has been freelancing as an Animation Lead & Supervisor and Senior Rigger & Animation Tool Developer since 2025.
